This is the perfect campground for peace and quiet! You take a dirt road back in. We have a 32 foot Fifth Wheel and had no issues traveling the dirt road! Out of all the roads you take in life you ought to make at least a few of them dirt!!! The owner was so wonderful and such a blessing! We broke down and had to extend our stay due to our truck being in the shop. He was very welcoming! His brother came by a couple times to collect rent, Hes the type of guy itd be fun to sit around a campfire with and hear stories of his travels! Couldnt have asked for a better campground to stay out! The price is perfect as well!! They have a coin operated washer and dryer. Ponderosa has Full Hook up sites with 20amp, 30amp, 50amp! They have fantastic WIFI and T-Mobile has great service there! You can take a peaceful country walk down the road! Would for sure stay here again if in this area!! This campground was a breath of fresh air!!

This is a lovely little campground. Owner allows horses. Our horses got to share the pasture with his horses and had a great time. Trails right from the property.

Our 40 foot RV had no issues with the short dirt road even after a torrential rain storm. Each lot has full hookups. It is only $30 a night and is quiet and peaceful. We had a tow bar issue and the owner generously offered my husband his welding tools to repair the problem. My husband happens to be a welder. The owner offered to call someone for us if we needed it. Very nice people!

Great Wifi and tv. The owner checked with us to be sure we had Wifi. He has 30 & 50 amp.

Hard to find a inexpensive remote campground, This one is it. This is a campground that is just starting up so no frills but everything you need. All pull-through sites, water, sewer, electric and really good internet. Owners are on site and really nice people. Very quiet and a great place to relax. I am anxious to go back and watch this place grow

Very inexpensive place. Isolated. There are only hilly dirt roads into the campground, but our Class C and Subaru sedan handled them just fine. Good wifi here. Nice folks. Our site was on a bit of a slope, but nothing too extreme. Would stay here again.

Definitely the perfect place away from the hustle and bustle of life. I highly recommend this beautiful place for rest and relaxation.

I stayed one night as I was passing through. I wish I had more time. No frills but the people are friendly and make you feel at home. I spent the afternoon by a camp fire talking with the owner and his friends. It was like I knew them for years. I will return. Thank you Mark.

Great. We have been here four months. Plan on leaving our RV parked here for awhile as our get-a-way place. Close enough to Savannah and other towns for day trips or overnighters. Savannah river near by with a boat ramp. No city lights, so telescopes work well. Quiet and Mark is GREAT at helping with anything we need. I reccomend Ponderosa to everyone for long or short stays.

Quiet and secluded campground. Did a one night sleep stop and will be returning in future!
